SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) -- The trial date is set for a man accused of killing a Sun Prairie woman.

Gerson Blas Noe is charged with first-degree intentional homicide, hiding a corpse and providing false information on a missing person. He has pleaded not guilty.

Prosecutors say Noe killed Ingrid Valverde-Ponce in January. Her body was found in a field.

Authorities say the two were romantically involved.

Court records show Noe's trial is scheduled to begin in mid-February of 2026.
