LYNDHURST, Ohio -- A Tennessee man has been arrested for the murder of a man in a South Sedgewick Road garage.

At about 7:15 p.m. Friday (Aug. 8), police were called to a home in the 5000 block of South Sedgewick .

In the attached garage, officers found a man on the floor. The victim appeared to have been shot several times in the back, stomach and leg.

The suspect had left the scene.

Responding officers administered emergency care until EMS arrived and transported the victim to Hillcrest Hospital, where he died at about 11:45 p.m.

According to a news release issued by Lyndhurst Police Chief Patrick Rhode, “Preliminary information indicates that the victim was shot by a known male acquaintance following an argument that occurred in the victim’s garage.
