MEDINA, Ohio – Thanks to a partnership between Main Street Medina, Cool Beans Café and Medina High School Class of 1970, five Medina County graduating seniors have been awarded scholarships.

“This is our third year to offer the scholarship program,” said Main Street Medina Executive Director George Sam. “There is a selection committee and a criteria students need to adhere to. It’s a combination of things including community pride and we like to hear how students have been inspired to follow their career path.”

The Cool Beans Café Emerging Entrepreneur Scholarship, established in 2024 by local entrepreneur Laura Cavey, in collaboration with Main Street Medina, provides financial support to aspiring entrepreneurs in Medina County. Applicants for this scholarship were either high school se
