LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Several agencies, including the Department of Public Safety (DPS), Border Patrol and the Laredo Police Department, responded to a human smuggling incident in east Laredo.

The incident took place on Monday, August 11, at about 10 p.m. in the 5500 block of Bob Bullock Loop.

According to the DPS, they received an assistance call from Border Patrol regarding an 18-wheeler with several undocumented immigrants seen exiting the vehicle.

Currently, there is no information on whether the undocumented individuals were detained or if they escaped.
