ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Dr. Frita Fisher is sounding off about vaccine misinformation and disinformation after Friday’s deadly shooting at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention headquarters, which killed DeKalb County police officer David Rose.

“Here is someone who dedicated his life to saving the lives of others and then he passed away, possibly due to the misinformation,” said Fisher.

The investigation has revealed that the shooting suspect, Patrick White, blamed his depression and suicidal thoughts on the COVID-19 vaccine. White died during the shooting incident Friday, but it’s still unclear whether he was killed by police or killed himself.
