ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Two bystanders helped a state trooper arrest a driver after a chase that ended in two crashes at a Conyers intersection Monday afternoon, according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).

Around 1:25 p.m., a trooper tried to pull over a Ford Crown Victoria for following too closely on Sigman Road.

The driver and sole occupant, identified as 40-year-old Jamal Green of Stockbridge, allegedly sped away and led the trooper on a chase.

According to GSP, Green ran a red light at the intersection of Sigman Road and Rockbridge Road, hitting an F-150 truck, which rolled over and landed on its roof.

Green then hit another F-150 head-on, the agency said.
