The driver of an SUV died in a Langley crash on Monday morning, the third traffic death in the past eight days.
According to Langley RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, emergency services were called to the 25600-block of 56 Avenue at 8:25 a.m. with reports of a two-vehicle accident.
“Officers arrived in the area and determined that an SUV and a commercial flat deck truck were involved. Sadly, the driver of the SUV sustained catastrophic injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene,” Sharoom said.
“Several witnesses along with the driver of the flat deck truck remained on scene and are fully co-operating with the investigation. Investigation into this incident remains continuing.”
