The Cypress city manager may soon be out at City Hall.
After what was at least a fourth meeting to evaluate the city manager’s performance in closed session, it was announced Monday night, Aug. 11, that the City Council had directed the city attorney to take action, though what that action will be was not disclosed.
Asked by residents on his way out of the meeting if he was still their city manager, Peter Grant, who has been the city’s top administrator for more than a decade, told them he was, but added, “I don’t think I’ll be here tomorrow.”
The city attorney told residents he could not comment further on the direction the councilmembers gave.
