MADISON, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Dakota State Trojans opened up Brian Kern Stadium last fall and finished with a 6-4 record overall and second place after a 4-0 start.

They’ve joined the Frontier Conference which I know has Josh Anderson excited because of the level of play.

And he’s got high hopes for this year’s squad.

Josh Anderson, DSU Football Coach says, “The expectations are pretty high this year. We’ve got pretty good depth, we got 20 seniors and that’s a good thing to have on any team at any level. Really excited about the effort they put in during the off-season and it’s really starting to show. We’re just a couple of practices in but things are a whole lot smoother than they ever have been.”
