The Bay Area Air District reached an agreement with Argent Materials to resolve the company's air quality violations at their construction material recycling facility in East Oakland facility, the agency announced Monday.

Argent operates two facilities near one another in Oakland: one on Baldwin Street and one on San Leandro Street.

Under the agreement, Argent will install air quality monitors and track emissions in real time at both facilities for the next three years, according to the air district. Argent may face financial penalties if it doesn't adhere to the agreement.
