Seattle police detectives are investigating a double homicide inside Virgil Flaim Park in North Seattle this evening.

At about 6:00 p.m., patrol officers responded to a shooting at 2700 Northeast 123rd Street. There, police found two men with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers provided emergency medical treatment to the victims until the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) arrived and continued treatment.

Despite all life-saving measures, SFD pronounced one of the victims deceased at the scene.

SFD transported the second victim to Harborview Medical Center (HMC) with critical injuries. Despite further life-saving measures, doctors pronounced this man deceased at HMC.
