Police have issued a warning after seizing a 'nuisance' e-scooter in Coventry . It was being ridden dangerously in Tile Hill .

Officers from the Woodlands NPT swooped on the e-scooter rider on Saturday (August 9). It was causing a nuisance and being ridden dangerously, Coventry Police said.

Police will be cracking down on e-scooters being ridden illegally in Coventry . Anyone seen riding antisocially in the city has been warned that they could be fined up to £300.

A spokesman for Coventry Police said: “Officers from the Woodlands NHT seized an e-scooter over the weekend. It was being ridden dangerously and causing a nuisance in Tile Hill .
