The 2025 high school football season is less than two months from kickoff.

The Cumberland County Jamboree is scheduled for Aug. 15, with Gray's Creek and Terry Sanford hosting. And the NCHSAA season will kick off on Aug. 22 with new conference alignments that run through 2029.

With the first contests approaching, The Fayetteville Observer took a look at individual positions and narrowed them down to the top athletes in the area.
