CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A seventh suspect is under arrest in connection with what Cincinnati’s police chief calls a “violent attack” Downtown, court records show.

Gregory Wright, 32, of Avondale, was taken into custody on Monday and booked into the Hamilton County jail by 4:30 p.m. on charges of aggravated riot and aggravated robbery.

He was held overnight without bond and is scheduled to make his first court appearance in the case at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Police allege in a crimnial complaint that Wright “did by force rip the necklace off the victim while he was being assaulted by four or more co-defendants attempting to cause serious physical harm” during the brawl at Fourth and Elm streets early July 26.
