We asked for your input for our SouthCoast Fan Choice awards, and your voices were heard.

Over the past several weeks, we published polls for our readers to determine the male and female players of the year, coach of the year and team of the year for the 2024-25 school year.

The winners are listed below:

SouthCoast Boys Player of the Year

Dartmouth’s Ray Gramlich received 367 votes (31%) to receive the honor. Bishop Stang’s Michael Veegh was second (330 votes; 27%) and Fairhaven’s Justin Marques was third (157 votes; 13%).

Gramlich was dominant in both football and lacrosse for Dartmouth. He was named the 2024 Standard-Times Football Defensive Player of the Year as a senior, recording a team-high 111 tackles to help Dartmouth hold the opposition to an average of 14 points per game w
