This week, The Washington County Fair returns to Rhode Island to celebrate the end of summer.

Now in its 58th year, the fair was originally founded in 1967 to emphasize the importance of agriculture in local communities . It has since grown into Rhode Island's largest agricultural event, offering traditions like livestock contests and tractor pulls.
