STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Staten Island housing market cooled slightly in July, the Staten Island Board of Realtors has reported — with the median home price dipping 2.9% to $684,800.
According to the latest data from SIBOR , new residential listings plummeted too, dropping by 32.1%. Pending sales also decreased by 30.1% compared to July 2024 and the borough’s inventory levels contracted sharply, falling 38.8% from the previous year.
“This has pushed the ‘months’ supply of inventory’ down 33% to 3.1 months, reflecting a continued seller’s market — one where serious sellers can still attract buyers in search of well-priced homes,” the report noted.
