The National Weather Service warns of increasing heat indices and possible localized heavy rainfall.

According to the weather service, Tuesday will feature abundant sunshine and temperatures climbing into the upper 80s to low 90s. Southwesterly winds will increase humidity, with dew points rising into the upper 60s, creating a muggy feel by late afternoon. The heat index may approach or slightly exceed actual air temperatures.
