Governor Maura Healey has weighed in once again on the ongoing trash strike impacting communities across Greater Boston, this time taking direct aim at Republic Service's president and CEO.

For the last month and a half, union workers at Republic Services have been on the picket lines — demanding better pay and working conditions. All the meanwhile, municipalities with Republic contracts have been on the hook for trash removal.
