Teenager charged with attempted murder after Kingswood stabbing
A teenager has been charged with attempted murder after a stabbing in Kingswood last week.
The victim of the attack walked into a pub on Two Mile Hill Road with a suspected knife wound in his back.
The victim was taken to hospital, but has since been discharged.
It is not thought that his injuries are life-threatening or life-changing.
A teenage boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with attempted murder and being in possession of an offensive weapon.
The 17-year-old has been remanded into police custody.
He is due to appear at Bristol Magistrates' Court today (Tuesday, August 11).
Two other people were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
They have both been released on police bail.
