A hearing scheduled for Tuesday in Norfolk Superior Court is set to address the discovery issues relating to the Michael Proctor files that a number of defendants are looking to use in their cases.

The hearing is at 2 p.m., and comes after last week's hearing in the Myles King case failed to get off the ground.

Proctor has been called by attorneys for Myles King, who is accused of killing Marquis Simmons in 2021. His lawyers are looking to see whether Proctor acted appropriately, since he was the lead investigator in this case as well.

Proctor didn't take the stand last week as expected and left Norfolk Superior Court without comment.
