Gov. Katie Hobbs visited Flagstaff on Friday as part of her three-day Arizona Promise Tour. Among the day’s events, Hobbs met with members of the Flagstaff Fire Department and city council to highlight the state’s $4 million investment in a new wildland fire training facility , which will be built here.

At Fire Station 1 on South Thompson Street, Hobbs listened to presentations by fire department staff about the wildland fire division’s work in fuel reduction, home hardening and community outreach. Copy article link
