Circleville, OH — August 11, 2025 — Pickaway County Public Health is inviting residents to gather for Overdose Awareness Day – “Light the Way” on Thursday, August 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ted Lewis Park in Circleville.

The free, family-friendly event will honor lives lost to overdose, provide resources for those in recovery, and unite the community in reducing the stigma surrounding substance use.

“Overdose Awareness Day is about more than remembering those we’ve lost—it’s about building a stronger, more compassionate community,” said Tiffany Singer, PORT Coordinator and Public Information Officer at Pickaway County Public Health. “Our theme, ‘Light the Way,’ reflects our commitment to guiding one another toward healing, understanding, and support.”
