The dumbest move I have seen since the Trudeau era, unless I am missing something, in which case I am open to listen.

I can’t see how intermittently occupied houses contribute to a lack of affordable housing. This Livability Tax is just that, a tax. No correlation to the issue on hand, i.e. affordable housing. Hypothetically, if all these houses became occupied permanently by their current or new owners what would the implications be? More traffic, something the Town can’t handle as is, more and more frequent back-ups all the way to the car dealerships, ever more restrictive parking, more restrictive bylaws, more garbage, heavier load on the sewage treatment plant, more wildlife interaction, etc. If those houses were being sold, they would be so at market value, which is exactly
