A 33-year-old Andrews man was killed Friday night in a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 385.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a tractor-trailer being driven by a 22-year-old Amarillo man suffered a blowout around 7:15 p.m., causing the driver to lose control and cross the center median. The driver tried to cross back through the cable barrier, but a Chevrolet Silverado with three people inside struck the tractor-trailer.

Johnny Saenz, a front seat passenger in the Chevy, was taken to Medical Center Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. Everyone else in the crash were also taken to MCH with minor injuries.

The Ector County crash remains under investigation.
