Whether you think of it as a sign Summerween is almost over or Halloween is around the corner, pop-up retailer Spirit Halloween opening its doors around the country is a sign that fall isn’t far away.
This year, it plans to open more than 1,500 stores nationally, bringing a selection of costumes, animatronics decorations and more to otherwise empty retail locations. Its first 100 opened their doors over the weekend, the chain announced .
That first wave included some stores in Colorado , according to Spirit Halloween’s website. The chain plans 30 stores stretching up and down the front range and onto the western slope, but most are not open yet.
