A TV firm are searching for young Glaswegians to star in a new show based on a famous Scottish book.

Des Hamilton have taken to social media in search of male Glaswegians aged between 17 and 19 years old for a new series adapted from Scottish author Graeme Armstrong’s best-selling and award-winning novel The Young Team .

They added that anyone who might fit the bill or if you know anyone who does, can contact them for information via the email streetcasting@deshamilton.com or via the website .

The London and Glasgow based casting company works across film, television, short films, commercials and music videos.

Speaking about the casting opportunity, they added: "No acting experience needed. This is a paid role."
