The Zoning Board of Appeal took no action today on a proposal by a New York based takeout chain that recreates dishes by name-brand chefs and restaurants to open a location at 1260 Boylston St. over concerns about all those delivery bikes and mopeds on the already clogged thoroughfare - especially before and after Red Sox games.
The board instead set an Oct. 7 hearing date at which Wonder can submit new plans, possibly by expanding the amount of table seats set aside for in-restaurant dining in its roughly 3,000-square-foot space, to reduce the number of orders that would come through delivery apps.
The Fenway Civic Association opposed the proposal and asked for more than the six table seats Wonder originally proposed, according to a liaison from the city Office of Neighborhood Services.
