The Madison VFW 14U baseball team came back with a vengeance after a tough first round to walk away as the top team of the Alpha Division State Tournament in Sioux Falls Aug. 8-10.
Madison began the tournament with a 14-5 trashing by the Vermillion Tanagers on Aug. 8, though they battled back through three hard-fought games to earn their revenge on Vermillion in the championship on Aug. 10. ×
