Militarie Gun have announced God Save the Gun , their sophomore album, out on October 17th via Loma Vista. They’ve also revealed “B A D I D E A,” the new album’s latest single, and added a new stretch of 2025 tour dates.

God Save the Gun finds the Ian Shelton-led rock quintet meditating on addiction, self-destruction, and self-belief. “I’m well aware that being this vulnerable turns my personal trauma into a marketing hook for this album, but I’m fine with it, if not provoking it,” Shelton said in a press release. “Over the past couple years, as I spoke about addiction from the perspective of someone affected by it, I became the one struggling with it.
