MILWAUKEE —
Record rainfall over the weekend flooded streets, rivers and neighborhoods across southeast Wisconsin. Between Saturday night and Sunday afternoon, rainfall totals reached 14.50 inches at Milwaukee's Timmerman Airport.
Aerial footage from sister station WISN's news helicopter reveals the impact of historic flooding across the area. The footage, captured on Aug. 10, shows submerged neighborhoods and flooded streets throughout the southeastern portion of Milwaukee County.
The Milwaukee River reached major flood stage, with moderate flooding reported in downtown Milwaukee.
