The Jets will have a quarterback question hanging over the rest of the preseason.

Backup veteran quarterback Tyrod Taylor underwent arthroscopic knee surgery for an issue that has sidelined him for multiple practices, Jets head coach Aaron Glenn announced on Tuesday.

Taylor, 36, will miss the rest of the preseason, with Glenn hopeful he will be ready for Week 1 against the Steelers on Sept. 7.

With Taylor out, Adrian Martinez and Brady Cook will continue to see time behind starter Justin Fields.

Neither Martinez, 25, nor Cook, 23, have played a snap in an NFL regular season game.
