The CEO of U.S. Steel, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, and the director of the United Steel Workers will provide an update following the deadly explosion at the Clairton Coke Works plant .

Multiple explosions went off at U.S. Steel's Clairton Coke plant just before 11 a.m. on Monday, killing worker Timothy Quinn and another man, who has not been identified.

"The accident sadly took the life of two Union Brothers and injured several other co-workers, some seriously," City of Washington Mayor JoJo Burgess said.

Another person was rescued from the rubble and taken to an area hospital, along with 10 other people. The five people who were taken to AHN in Jefferson Hills for treatment have been released.

Multiple others were said to be treated on the scene.
