A 'freak accident' has forced police to close a road in the southside after one car flipped onto its roof in a quiet street.
Police are currently in attendance at the incident which happened on Rhannon Road in Cathcart close to the train station earlier this evening (Tuesday, August 12).
In an incident described as a "freak accident", no other cars or pedestrians were reportedly involved.
Two police cars and four officers are currently in attendance and confirmed the road is currently open to pedestrians but not traffic, until they can move the stricken car which is currently resting against a garden wall and lies on its roof.
In dramatic images taken at the site, the quiet street has been taped off as officers investigate.
Police Scotland have been contacted for further details.
