LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - It’s back to school time in the Bluegrass state as scattered showers and storms rumble through.
The forecast for the big day on Wednesday will feature scattered storms similar to what we are seeing out there today. They won’t be constant, but will make you pull out the umbrella from time to time.
Highs will generally be back into the mid and upper 80s.
Additional rounds of showers and storms hang tough for Thursday and Friday with highs in the upper 80s.
The weekend looks toasty with upper 80s and low 90s for highs with just a few isolated storms around.
The pattern changes up early next week as a cold front drops into the region from the north, giving us some more showers and storms and, eventually, cooler temps.
