Wollaton Hall and Deer Park in Wollaton, Nottingham

Managers at Wollaton Park have issued a reminder that people cannot bring BBQs to the site as temperatures are set to top 30C. The Met Office is currently forecasting a top temperature of 33C in Nottingham on Wednesday (August 13) and people are being reminded of rules at parks and open spaces across the city.

Nottingham City Council's parks service first posted a message late on Monday saying: "With the increased fire risk, BBQs are not allowed in any of our parks, woodlands, or nature reserves. Please bring a picnic instead and help us protect these beautiful spaces."
