On July 7, four of Minnesota’s congressional representatives — Pete Stauber, Tom Emmer, Michelle Fischbach, and Brad Finstad — joined two colleagues from Wisconsin and made headlines by levying accusations at Canada for the thick wildfire smoke that has been choking our skies the last few years. In a letter to the Canadian ambassador , they chastised our northern neighbor for “a lack of active forest management” while claiming the smoke made life dangerous for Minnesotans.
