BRAINERD — Eighteen actors. Four directors. Five plays. Ten performances. All in nine days.
That describes the Actors Repertory Theatre project being called ‘A Buffet of Plays,’ opening on Sept. 3 and running through Sept. 11. The five plays will be presented in a rotating repertory in the Dryden Theatre on the Brainerd campus of Central Lakes College.
“This is by all definitions the most ambitious theatre project ever produced in this area,” said Patrick Spradlin, co-founder of ART, retired CLC theatre instructor, and both a director and actor in the project. “Most theatre companies attempt one play at a time.
