Ashley Biden, the daughter of former President Joe Biden and former First Lady Jill Biden, filed for divorce from her husband, Dr. Howard Krein, on Monday, Aug. 11, in Philadelphia, court records show.

Ashley Biden, 44, married Krein, a 58-year-old plastic surgeon and ear, nose and throat doctor from South Jersey, in June 2012 in Greenville, Delaware.

The couple have been living in Society Hill in Philadelphia, where Krein is employed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer .
