SILVER SPRING, Md. (DC News Now) -- A man is wanted after supposedly stealing a Safeway employee's wallet and making purchases with their credit card in Montgomery County.

The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said in a news release that on June 22, around 11:15 a.m., the man walked into the Safeway at 909 Thayer Ave.

He went to a closet in the store, stole the employee's wallet and left.

MCPD is asking that anyone with any information call 1-866-411-8477 or submit a tip online.
