Fashion and lifestyle retailer Fatface is poised to shut all 23 of its US outlets as it shifts its North American operations to a purely digital model. An insider revealed that rising costs and economic uncertainty have rendered the upkeep of physical American stores untenable. ‌

This strategic shift will result in 145 redundancies. However, Fatface intends to concentrate on its UK high street footprint, having recently launched three fresh outlets, refurbished seven existing ones, and given 28 shopfronts a makeover this year. ‌
