BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Odell Beckham Jr says he’s not retiring, despite a fake, viral social media post that led fans and friends to send him congratulatory messages.

The post came Tuesday from a parody account impersonating ESPN insider Adam Schefter, using the name “Adam Schelfer,” and quickly spread across social media.

The New Orleans native and former LSU standout took to X to set the record straight.

“Not done yet… thanks for yr concerns and have a blessed day," Beckham wrote.

In a follow-up post , Beckham added:

“No seriously. Plz stop reading everything on the internet, and stop texting me happy retirement... I promise u the day I’m done I will let u kno. Again if u text me happy retirement im just gon have to block u😭😭. Thanks.”
