TOWN OF WEST TURIN, New York (WWNY) - A July crash that killed a mother and son in Lewis County has claimed a third life.

The crash happened at the intersection of State Routes 26 and 12D, known as Potters Corners, in the town of West Turin.

Police say 39-year-old Natasha Spellicy drove into the path of a tractor trailer, killing her and her 16-year-old son, Tyler.

A daughter, 18-year-old Kylie, went to a Syracuse hospital. We’ve learned that Kylie has since died of her injuries.

Father and stepmother mourn loss

Tyler and Kylie’s father and stepmother, Matthew and Monica Spellicy, spoke with 7 News about their loss.

“Tyler. He loved wrestling. He was just my little buddy,” said Matthew.

“He was a helper. I mean, he would drop anything to help anyone,” said Monica.
