A far-right reporter in a romantic relationship with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was caught on a hot mic bragging about the softball question he was about to throw at President Donald Trump, The Daily Beast reported Tuesday.

“Everyone will love my second question today that I’m going to ask the president‚” said Real America's Voice's Brian Glenn to other reporters. “Everybody in the room, you’re gonna love it. They’ll applaud it.”

When it came time to call on him, Glenn's question was, “You are building a big, beautiful ballroom. Could we build a big, beautiful briefing room, more technology, more seats?” which earned him applause from other reporters in the briefing room. Trump shot back jokingly, “I don’t want to do that. I don’t want you to be comfortable. So, no, I don’t want to make life comfortable.”

Glenn, who has dated Greene since 2023, went on to complain in an interview on Real America's Voice that the current room is too small and crowded, and that he wants a "Trump Transparency Room" with dozens of new seats, a “commercial grade coffee/espresso machine,” “chandelier lighting,” and ”gold everything.”

He is a recent addition to the White House press corps, the report noted — and he has already racked up a history of controversy, throwing a tantrum in defense of Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth's drinking habits, and using a racial epithet against the Black chief of the White House Correspondents Association.

Trump's planned $200 million ballroom would more than double the square footage of the White House and has come under extensive criticism from skeptics, although the White House claims the funding will come entirely from private contributions and will not cost taxpayers anything.
