CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - A Charleston man is on trial for charges related to the death of his first cousin.

Antonio Green Jr., 22, faces charges of murder, armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime from an October 2021 shooting.

The state says Brian Sease and Derek Stewart were also charged in this crime, and both of them are expecting trials at later dates.

The Charleston County Coroner pronounced Travis Terrell Green, 22, dead from a gunshot wound on October 30, 2021. The shooting took place at around 2:30 p.m. at the Pinecrest Greene apartments on Raoul Wallenberg Boulevard in West Ashley.

The victim’s family says the man on trial is his first cousin.

The state began the second day of testimony with mostly expert witnesses.
