FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in part of the Midlands.

The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office said the incident happened at around 10 a.m. Tuesday on Durham Place Road.

The sheriff’s office said one person was killed while another victim was taken to a hospital with injuries.

No further details were immediately available.
