CHICAGO -- The Detroit Tigers are slated to play the second of three games against the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday night.
The Tigers (69-51) and White Sox (43-76) meet at 7:40 p.m. Eastern time at Rate Field, although evening showers could play havoc with those plans.

The White Sox selected the contract of right-hander Yoendrys Gómez (1-1, 6.62) before the game. He’ll make his first MLB start on Tuesday after 18 career appearances out of the pen.
