IRVINE, Calif. — After an off day in Southern California Monday afternoon, the New Orleans Saints shuffled some pieces on their roster Tuesday.

New Orleans signed three players after a recent tryout in receiver Roderick Daniels, tight end Seth Green and defensive tackle Jayden Peevy. To make room for the additions, the Saints waived tight end Mason Pline and receiver Chris Tyree, both with injury designations.

Daniels had participated on a tryout basis with the Saints earlier this summer. The former SMU receiver recorded 18 touchdowns in his college career — 12 as a receiver, four as a runner and two as a punt returner.

Green was with the Saints earlier in training camp , but was waived after the Saints claimed Pline off waivers from the San Francisco 49ers . Pline suffered an und
