STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WTAJ) — Members of the Children's Advocacy Centers of Pennsylvania met Tuesday for a specialized training session on the commercial sexual exploitation of children.
The training session aimed to equip professionals, including mental health experts and first responders, with tailored approaches to respond to child trafficking cases and provide victims with the best possible care.
Directors from the advocacy centers have noted an increase in child trafficking cases in their work, highlighting the need for coordinated efforts across various fields.
