Zilla Fatu, the son of the late, great Eddie “Umaga” Fatu, recently shared some touching and poignant memories of his father. He described the fearsome “Samoan Bulldozer” as a “big teddy bear” in real life. He explained the complicated emotions of following in the footsteps of a father who never wanted him to get into professional wrestling.
Umaga was a memorable WWE Superstar of the Ruthless Aggression era. He tragically passed away in 2009 at the age of 36, leaving behind a powerful legacy and a young family. Now, his son Zilla is carrying on that legacy, and in the process, discovering new things about the man he called Dad.
A “Big Teddy Bear”
Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on the Insight podcast, Zilla shared memories of his father that stand in stark contrast to his on-screen person
